Alappuzha (Alleppey), referred to as the Venice of the East, peaceful and pristine is famous for its breath-taking backwaters and canals. Alappuzha, one of the major tourism spots of Kerala is a small strip of land sandwiched between the Vembanad Lake and the Arabian Sea. Alappuzha Beach, the pier which extends into the sea is around 140 years old. It is a perfect spot to picnic and there is also an old lighthouse nearby that is of immense interest for the visitors. The beautiful nature and exquisite setting all around the backwaters of Alappuzha  is conducive to meditation and mind expansion.

THE Lush Green Hills of MUNNAR (04 Nov - 10 Nov)

Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1,600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. The gateway to Kondai Lip welcomes you across a narrow canal fringed by palms. Greeted by the resort’s boatman, guests are then transported across in a country boat. The cottages are all over a hundred years old and were once traditional homes that have been trans-located; designed in Kerala’s vernacular style of architecture, with interiors in wood, elegantly furnished and equipped with all modern amenities, the cottages look out at canals on two sides and are set around a dining area that is open to the surrounding landscape.

True to its name is Aranyaka resorts – nature's own green estate that is Aranyaka, the resort has just four distinct private Cottages with the best-in-its-class creature comforts – giving you a vacation to remember, and a Munnar experience like no other. The resort's villas adopt tradition Kerala architecture with generous wooden furnishing and combining touch of modern amenities.

An ideal choice to relaxingly witness the enthralling Sunrise, a gentle breeze and whisper of the trees around the resort's villas to enjoy your time away from the hustles of busy schedules and tiring routines. The serene backwaters of the lake spread far and wide of Alappuzha and the lush green hills filled with tea plantations of Munnar is a sight to behold; sit back, luxuriate in the beauty that surrounds you, soak in the silence, you are a heartbeat away from paradise.
